Well spring has sprung big time here in Alabama.
It's 85 and sunny today, but the pollen count is high; which means
that when I drive my convertible to have lunch with my Mom I'll be
sneezing yellow powder for an hour.
It's a small price to pay to enjoy a ride with the top down :o)
The open road is calling, so let's get to it.
First up is my newspaper column about using email to enhance your
business.
It doesn't matter if your business is online or off, if you're a
brick-n-mortar, a doctor, a lawyer, or an Indian chief; you can use
email to bring in more customers and make more moolah. More below.
Next is my recommendation about which Internet marketing seminars are
worth your time and money. Most of them are just giant pitchfests,
but there are diamonds out there if you know what to look for. Below
are details on the two seminars that I would rate head and shoulders
above the rest and both are coming up in April.

Use Email Marketing To Keep Customers Buzzing About Your Business
The other day my radio show cohost, Paul Finley, mentioned that he had
received an email from his dentist. The point of the email was to let
Paul know that his office would be closed for a week and included
instructions on what to do in case of a dental emergency.
Obviously Paul's dentist reads my column because I've been preaching
about using email to keep in touch with customers for years.
OK, maybe he doesn't read my column and is just a brilliant guy in his
own right.
Either way, the point is clear: using email - no matter what type of
business you're in - is an excellent way to keep the lines of
communication buzzing between you and those folks who keep you in
business.
Which Internet Marketing Seminars Do I Personally Recommend?
I'm a big fan of continuing education. I'm always reading books,
listening to tapes and CDs, and going to live seminars.
I believe that when you stop learning, you stop growing; personally,
emotionally, AND financially.
That's why I'm often asked...
"Tim, there are so many Internet Marketing seminars out there that I
have no clue which ones I should attend. Which ones do you personally
recommend?"
To be perfectly honest, many of the Internet Marketing seminars out
there are just giant pitchfests that lure you in with the promise of
information, then end up trying to soak you for more money on the back
side.
They dangle a carrot in front of your nose, but fail to deliver on
their promises.
That's why I've QUIT attending 95% of the seminars I've gone to in the
past.
If I come away feeling cheated I can only imagine how others must
feel.
In my opinion there are very few seminars that over-deliver when it
comes to real education and real opportunity and two of those are
coming up in April.
I am personally attending both and speaking at one.

Ken's "System" seminar is the real deal. It's a nuts and bolts, no BS
training weekend that teaches you all about starting and profiting
from your own business. I recommend it highly.

Rhea Perry's "Affiliate Marketing Conference" in Nashville, TN on
April 13.
Rhea is one of the nicest people on the planet. She started doing
seminars for her friends a few short years ago in her living room and
her events are more like family reunions than seminars.
I'll be teaching at this event, so you know it's top of the line :o)
