I trust all is well in your world this week. Fall is finally here in Alabama, which is hard to believe given that it's still in the 90's with humidity at 100%.
It's been a long, hot, dry summer. The drought pretty much killed the greenery, so there will be no pretty colored foliage to enjoy this year: unless you're a fan of brown.
That's enough about the weather. On to this week's issue...
Personally, I'm glad fall is here... now if only it felt like fall...
First up this isse I wanted to clarify some confusion regarding "The Tim Knox" radio show.
I'm no longer doing the business-oriented show on Saturday afternoon because college football took the time slot.
I was actually going to take a few months off, but the management of WVNN called to ask if I'd be interested in doing the afternoon drive show that airs Monday through Friday from 5pm - 7pm CT.
This is the primo talk radio spot in the market and most people would kill for the chance to do a show, so it was an honor just to be asked.
But I could never work "a real job" and told them as much.
I'm an entrepreneur. I can only work for myself. Plus, I've been out of the job market for so long I'm pretty sure I'm unemployable :o)
However, given that doing a daily talk show has always been a dream of mine (amazing how dreams sometimes fall in your lap) and this would just take a couple hours a day, I proposed a business arrangement.
So after a little negotiation, I am doing the daily show and having a ball doing it. It's actually a welcome break to my hectic business day.
The new show is not business oriented. It's more topical. I talk about current events, family, life, kids: just about everything but politics (I don't think there's anyone worth voting for, sorry).
So, you can catch the live show everyday Monday through Friday from 5pm to 7pm or you can catch the podcasts anytime.
Here's what you'll find in this issue...
First up I ask the most important question any entrepreneur can answer: are you willing to do whatever it takes to succeed in business? If not, keep your day job.

Yep, I'm back in radio doing a regular show; in fact, it's at the same station where I started my radio career 30 years ago. What goes around really does come around...
